Apple Blossom Queens Court

2025 Queen & Court

About the Queens Court

The first Apple Blossom Queens court was crowned in 1923, as evidenced in the photo of a newspaper article below. Back then, the court was from the entire Payette County. Now, the court consists of young women who live in Payette and attend the Payette School District, Treasure Valley Classical Academy, or homeschool students. The court is now open to Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.

Payette Civic League

The Payette Civic League is a dedicated group of four volunteers committed to planning and organizing the Payette Apple Blossom Queen’s Court Tea, Pageant, and related events.

The league is led by President Shanyce Barber, with Vice Presidents Jamie Willet, Lisa Novotny, and Traci Sweet.

The Payette Apple Blossom Queen’s Court Pageant is the league’s sole annual fundraiser, and all proceeds are awarded directly to the senior girls on the court in the form of cash scholarships.

Through their volunteer efforts, the Civic League supports local youth and promotes community involvement and tradition.
